What Our customers are saying

The entire process was painless. The installation went smoothly, and the installers were incredibly professional.
I requested more information from Eco Home about this Inflation Reduction Act and my property's eligibility for it. I was contacted by John and was informed I needed to have solar for the project to install an upgraded and efficient heat pump and furnace onto my property. I was visited by Dallin who had my information given to them by me about our utility usage. With the information I was quoted $55k to install solar onto out property and then Eco Home could install these "free" and efficient appliances onto our property. Okay sounded pretty good but price seemed a little steep, especially since I have never been quoted about $31k for solar before. So I went out and got 2 new quotes to have solar installed. I had them sized to be 110% of my current electrical usage. 1st quote came in just under $22k and 2nd came in just under $23k. Both of these companies had the same information given to them that Eco Home did. But why is Eco Home quoting me over double for the same setup. To me sounds like this "free" system is being worked into the solar loan. Granted I was informed that Eco Home is not the solar installer or even company. But they are the one speaking for this company. I would tread very carefully with this program that they are offering.
Edit: Solar company I just remembered is New Star Solar.
John (our salesman) was courteous and polite and genuinely felt like he was wanting to help us. We reached out to this company because they were advertising a zero net cost air and heating system by utilizing the big federal tax credit incentives that currently exist. The final solution proposed to us would have been for a solar panel solution with a new dual fuel air conditioning system that would be more efficient than our old system which currently cannot beat the heat. By taking advantage of the solar credits and a low interest loan, the final completed project would supposedly negate utilities and replace their cost with the loan. This could definitely be a viable option for many people to get all new equipment, but there is enough possible complexity on the tax side of things that you should definitely consult an expert before deciding to go this route. Otherwise, they also just do regular ac installs without solar and use traditional financing. The price of the solar bid did seem high, but i do not currently have the knowledge to know if it truly was compared to competitors. It is definitely presented as a convenient option for people who want all the things at a low monthly cost and don't mind the large loan.
We had to back out as we were not ready to make the 25 year commitment on the loan without fully understanding the tax implications but will still be considering them for a new ac in the near future purely for the customer service shown so far. Thanks again to John.

“Communication was excellent; they arrived exactly when promised and stood firmly behind their work. What more could you ask for? The cost was reasonable. Garett was great”
